VidCon 2025 takes place from June 19–21 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Launched in 2010 by brothers John and Hank Green — the minds behind the beloved Vlogbrothers YouTube channel — VidCon was the first major convention dedicated to online video. What began as a grassroots gathering for digital creators and their fans quickly grew into a global phenomenon.

By blending influencer meetups, industry networking, live performances, and in-depth panels, VidCon helped legitimize online content creation as both an art form and a business. Now, 15 years later, VidCon continues to thrive, reflecting the incredible growth of digital content from a niche subculture into a multi-billion-dollar global industry.

VidCon is structured around three main tracks, each tailored to different audiences:

Community Track: For fans who want to meet creators, attend performances, and experience the excitement up close.

Creator Track: For up-and-coming or established creators looking to grow their content and connect with peers.

Industry Track: For professionals and brands seeking insights into the digital creator economy, marketing, and platform innovations.

There are a ton of panels to get excited about, but, depending on which track you’re on, you can see everything from the “YouTube Keynote: Celebrating 20 Years on YouTube” to “Mapping the Modern Creator Economy: Trends, Tensions, and What Comes Next.” Check out the full schedule for yourself on the VidCon website.

This year, you’ll also have the chance to meet nearly 200 creators, from featured guests such as Savanah Moss and Michael Mazzitelli from “Content Machine,” to Hall of Fame inductees like Anthony Padilla and Grace Helbig. Some of these fan meetups can turn into full-on celebrity worship. Case in point, Julian Elchakieh aka jmancurly who almost caused a riot on Friday after concluding his Q&A. Hundreds of frenzied fans chased him as he walked off the stage and continued to chant his name until they were convinced that Elchakieh had left the building.
